Section 179 Limits Increased for 2019
Thanks to Section 179 of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed in December 2017, new rules and limitations for depreciation and expensing have been updated for 2019 with a deduction limit of $1,000,000  and a limit on equipment purchases of $2,500,000.  Further, the bonus depreciation is 100% and has been made retroactive to 9/27/2017. It is good through 2022. The bonus depreciation also now includes used equipment. To read all of the Section 179 updates click here.
